loop hole? failed test

i failed my test today, the sheet he marked me with looked more like a colouring booking than evaluation by the end of it.

but the thing thats interested me is, you always hear about paperwork needing to be precise or how certain things, if left out or are off by a digit can void entire forms, right? well, i noticed my name wasn't on the provided line and it was above a scribbled out one, outside the margin. thought that might do him, tho i knew he'd have to have the cop on to just grab a fresh sheet if it would, but he didnt check date on it, and its down for tomorrow - 23rd.

im not looking to be passed or anything, but any oppurtinity to resit it for free in churchtown instead of rathgar would be a godsend.

any and all ideas would be appreciated. im gonna call my instructer later but he's a busy man so i have to wait till evening, and im in a bit of a frenzy for answers.

And when the judge asks you why you're doing this say "for the lulz your honour..........the lulz".

The examiner can make mistakes on your copy, so long as they correct and explain it on theirs. At the end of the day ( which ever day that is ) you failed. Your time and money would be better focused on the next, normal test.

Waiting months for a court date and then taking a day off work to attend etc. Hardly worth a try?

(And the chances of it going in the OP's favour are practically zero anyway).

Much easier, faster and less expensive to apply again.

The only thing my friend that should interest you at this stage is getting as many lessons under your belt as you possibly can, from what your saying, this is the way im reading it,you failed as you got way too many marks. Do yourself a huge favour and put the whole episode behind you and get some more lessons.

    best wishes for the future

there is one bit of information i haven't divulged. when i was going out to commence the checks and so forth, the examiner informed that another examiner would be accompanying us, he never explained why, just that she would have no sway in the outcome. it would appear that this guy was being trained in to his position, hence the unecassary scrutiny.

the pressure of that was pretty daunting. like when the guards are behind you and you start freaking out nearly running lights and snailing along.

admittedly, i wouldn't want to go so far as court over this (unavoidable really). it'd be that step too far over an incorrect date. i was just hoping that it'd fall under the category of being such a simple thing for them to do, and yet, so necassary to be completed correctly that they'd admit fault is all. but as someone pointed out, my form wouldn't be the one that mattered... it'd be there copy, and im sure his instructer would have fine combed his work.

Not being trained, it's an inspector checking up. It happens everywhere, randomly. They make sure that tests are fair and carried out properly. They were checking how the tester works, not anything to do with you.

You failed your test. That's the only bit that's relevant.

So what if there was one tester or two in your car?

The fact remains that you have been found incompetent to be left in sole charge of a motor vehicle (in a country where seriously incompetent people can be and routinely are found to be competent).

Just consider yourself lucky that you're still allowed to drive home afterwards, and apply yourself to becoming competent.

You sound like might be an overly anxious / nervous individual; maybe driving isn't for you.
