    hi,

my son has his little den out the back in the shed, i have partitioned off my side and his side is where he plays his guitar and playstation and so on, the walls are slabbed and there is a carpet layed with a door separatin my section from his. as the winter is almost upon us i have been wondering what the best way to heat it will be, i like the idea of a super ser but are they very expensive to run, what about a wall mounted infra red or an electric convector? any advice is appreciated.

I suppose it will depend on often the heater will be in use and how well insulated the shed is.

You could get a cheap electric convector which may be a good place to start. B&Q, Woodies and the like will have such items.

You could also use a plug in thermostat which will shut the heater off when the room reaches the desired temperature. That way the heater won't be on all the time and will help save a few €€ on the electricity bill.
