The quality is good it's just the resolution is low.

Very good show though, I like the way he's always punished for making silly (or even level headed) decisions. I haven't' read the book by the way.

I'm almost sure the leaked copy might be missing some after effects gloss, roads looked very clean and other little things like that, that would have looked good with a little ouch up after the fact.

Even though, it looked much better seeing Zombies walking around without daft overly dark filters to make it appear more scary.

I was jarred last night and stuck this on. My memory of it is hazy now so I'll have to watch it again but I distinctly remember it being very slow paced but it looks very promising

It's pretty slow to start but it gets right into the thick of it by the end of the episode.

From watching the trailer ages ago I had a feeling it would be good and keep true enough to the gritty detail of the graphic novels. Viewed the leaked episode over the weekend and was really impressed by it. Really looking forward to the next episode(s)

Oh man.... I watched it twice in a row last night. I positively loved it. The mood is right. It seems much more like a feature movie than a tv series. I'm already waiting for next Sunday!!!

The 1st episode is airing on FX tomorrow. It airs on Sundays on AMC in the States.

Watched it tonight on FX, thought it was great.
Definately like a movie more so than a tv series, got sucked it straight away. Really looking forward to the rest of the series.
Anyone have any idea how many episodes their going to run?

I THINK they are doing a 6 episode first "season" and then based on success go from there. Don't quote me on that thought.

its excellent !! just watched the second episode and it doesn't disappoint. its like watching a movie and its got a nice steady pace !! hooked :-)

Yeah - I just wish they would give me the option to "buy off" the commercials and bill me an extra couple $'s on my cable bill. I HATE commercials in shows like this. The show itself is so immersive that it really sucks when commercials hit... It almost makes me want to wait until the day after and watch it on-demand but of course - I can't wait - so I'll deal w/ my commercials.

Just finished episode 2 meself, it's brilliant!!! Gonna be a long wait til next monday though for episode 3. I hope they do more than 6 eps though, I can't see the story progressing with only 4 episodes to go considering we're technically a third of the way through the season and he hasn't gotten very far. Does that make sense?

By the comic storyline things are kinda weird - so far its a combination of the first 2 issues, I think. They haven't made it to the main survivor camp but some things that happen in later issues have already happened.

But - yeah. 2.5 hours of the show and, really, they have not made much progress. I'm not complaining at all - I like the pace. It gives them time to develop the characters instead of racing through them like they do in feature movies.

I'm hoping for at least a run of 20'ish episodes in total. At LEAST that many please...

i know right.. 6 episodes is just waaaay too little, but theres a season to going into production in Feb 2011, apparently. i think they're just testing the waters to see how much its liked.. i was laughing watching it tonight and thinking of this forum regards proper zombie killing attire. brilliant !

Anyone wonder why they didn't try and at least cover their heads/faces after they covered themselves in dead flesh?? I know they are/where concerned about infection but.... it nearly got 'em eaten, though the rain was the worst problem.

but ya, that was funny lol, im guessing Shaun of the dead came in to play there, i was thinking in my head, how funny would this be if they started moaning too like in that movie haha.
