    Hi all,
I'm wondering if someone could shed some light on this for me please.

Since this morning, my shower has suddenly dropped in water pressure and is now a mere trickle. Nothing else in the house is affected.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance;)

what type of shower is it, mains fed/storage tank fed. Seems like a blocked filter ?

    Hiya,

I did actually reply last night but the reply seems to have disappeared...

As you can tell I know very little about plumbing. I can say that we do have a storage tank but I don't know if that's what feeds it, sorry. We do have an immersion which has to be switched on before we can have hot water in the shower so does that mean that yes, it must be storage tank fed?

Sorry if that's no help. Thanks a mil for your replies!!

    All sorted now- thanks!!

I read somewhere that if you soak the showerhead in vinegar it will dissolve possible deposit buildups in the head. It worked within minutes. Flows like a dream now.

    Thanks for your replies ;)

And when finishing in shower, turn temperature knob to cold, just for a few seconds, and turn off when just turning cold, takes the hot water from the little copper cylinder, and helps the unit last longer

50% VINAGER WATER mix is actually what you do and dont use malt vinager because it stains...

Dont use vinager in the shower as it will break down the silicone seal.
