Edward I coin

    heya, did a bit of looking around and as far as I can tell it's an Edward I coin, minted in the Waterford mint, not to sure whether its a penny or halfpenny or what... irishcoinage has some pretty detailed info about these types of coins alright but would anyone be able to tell me anything? and it's condition etc etc

    What I can make out here is EDW- ANGLD --HYR'
    the E of the EDW is hard to make out as is the W

    on the reverse CIVITAS - - - E RFOR can be made out, you can just about make out the curve of the E.... so I'm guessing that it originally said CIVITAS WATERFOR because they leave out the D sometimes

    What else do you want to know about it? You seem to know already, what you've said is correct. All I can add is that it's worth between 30 and 40 Euro in that condition.

    its between 18 and 19 mm about the size of a 10 cent
