Advice for female watch-lover!!

Hi - I have always loved watches and now have a collection of about 30. Strangely I don't always wear a watch every day - but I love to have them and I love having a choice when I do wear one. Up to now I have not spent more the €250 on a watch as I have been reluctant to spend more on 'just a watch' but also I have never really seen anything that I covet that much - apart from mens watches. Most in my collection are Storm watches as i like that they are a bit different in design and tend to be nice and chunky - I hate tiny watches and I love a watch that has some weight. So, I am looking for some advice on what to get next - Storm have stopped doing anything I like, everything else for women seems to be very bling-bling or very tiny and dainty and pretty!!

I am ready to start looking for something really special - but I have no idea where to start. If I am going to be paying big money for something I want it to be something unusual, really good quality and timeless!! :-)

I know it's above your budget but nothing is more beautiful on a woman than a Submariner:

However do look at some Omegas as well. You can find some beautiful watches within your budget that will suit your taste. :)

Of course I'm biased here but a good chunky watch on a bracelet costing not much over a grand - Sinn U1. Perfect.

I like the Sinns in general. Nice watches and not the usual name. Personally I prefer the look of them on straps especially NATO straps. Then again I'm a strap guy. :)

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

Hmm - nice watch, but it doesn't grab me. I think its the face - a bit too 'I'm about to go diving' for me!!

Very nice - love the Azimuth with the black dial. Am learning so much - have become addicted to watch sites over last few days! :)
