    Afternoon all.

    After an encouraging final stage video conferencing interview, it looks like Ill be offered a job from the company in question.

    One thing they never asked about or brought up is references. I have really good written references from my previous roles, should I drop a mail inviting them to contact my former bosses?

    Or should I let them bring it up if at all?

    Thanks. :)

    No. I put;

    'References are availble on request'

    which is considered best practice these days in my opinion.

    Written references are worth sfa really, they'll ask you for referees to contact I would imagine.

    "Reference available upon request" is the best idea.

    Let them ask you for references if they need them. Will give you time to let people know that they might get a call about you.

    I'd leave at that so....let them get in contact with you for them.

    I agree 100%.

    Most job offers will be subject to references, so I would expect that they will ask for them at this stage. Written ones don't mean much because they would need to be verified anyway.
