    Hi all,

I'm looking to get a TV for the folks and have a limit on budget of €300. Must be at least 26 inch, would prefer 32 if possible. Am not overly fussy, would probably prefer Plasma as they're generally slightly cheaper and my old man watches a fair bit of sport.

I can collect from Dublin or Belfast, can you do anything with that kinda budget?

    Hi Heathers.

    Cheers for the post.

It's likely to be a 26" as most 32" TV's are coming in around £299.

Plasma's are only made in 37" and above, so it will be an LCD or LED model that you are looking at.

The best 26" to go for would be the LG 26LD350.

This LG sells for £269.95 which would work out at €329.95 / 343.94 including delivery.

This is a very capable 26" that also has an MPEG 4 tuner for Digital TV in the South, good sound and great picture quality.

Let me know what you think.

    Regards

Hi Dave, (and sorry Heathers for sharing/using your thread)

I'm also interested in this LG 26" TV. If I don't take the 5 year 'TV Guarantee', how many years is this TV guaranteed for? How long would it take to be delivered to Dublin? and would the total price be £269.95 + £17 (delivery) = £286.95 (approx €329)?

    Thanks

    Hi there.

Thanks for the post and we don't mind the odd hijacking around here....although Ritz might do. :(

We have it in stock and the standard warranty is 1 year. The TV is £269.95 and we can deliver it for £11.99.

The 5 year is £26.95 if you wanted to cover it for all parts and labour for 5 years.

If you ordered it tomorrow, it would be delivered on Friday.

Let me know if I can be of any further assistance.

    Cheers

    Dave
