slow iphone

anyone having iphone 3gs issues??last few days i have noticed my iphone getting slower and slower.
This morning it is actualling freezing and i am having to wait for it(just like dell computer now)to catch up..at time up to 30 seconds maybe more.
My buddy actually mentioned it to me in passing yesterday that his is doing the same just not as bad(yet).?????

We have 2 here & both have been the exact same since sunday - As usual the provider is saying its everything from high pressure to the walls in my home suddenly getting thicker !

ya mate both me and my friend said its since about sunday too..like it started with bit of lag and this morning its getting to point where its about to crash
running version 4.1
phone is not jailbroken or messed with.and itunes says i have most recent update

Have you got many apps on it?

Did you try turning it off and then rebooting it?

Having the same problem. Called the phone support today and she told me to reset the phone (which will remove everything off it)
Any suggestions on something less drastic.

Have deleted a lot of apps etc and have 2.8 GB free now. Have also did the whole turn it off and turn it back on agian but not improvment
