Hi Guys, need advice on whether to buy a Trajet 'import' or an Irish model? i have my eye on a couple of petrol trajets, the first is a 2002 automatic/leather interior/captain seats in second row for €3000, mileage in the 80's and the second is a 2003 irish (i.e. non-import) (i.e. non-import) petrol trajet/standard cloth interior for €4000, mileage in the 40's.

my dilemma is that after checking online forums it seems that all imports are clocked....

I'd be more suspicious of the one with 40. Check both for a service history.

    Get a vehicle check @ www.motorcheck.ie
Well worth the money...I looked at two cars earlier this year...one was clocked, the other ok....

If you are dead-set on a Trajet, avoid the Manual gearbox!!!

I recall that they are a high fail item, it was something to do with you cant select or have difficulty selecting 3rd gear AFAIK. I believe the auto-box is much better

Do not touch with a barge pole - MPG on the 2.0L petrol dreadful. Consider a Toyota Estima 2.2 Turbo.........

I have taken your advice (somewhat) I am considering an imported 2000 2.4L auto petrol Estima. They are nice drive for what they are...people carriers. Loads of space too which is what I need.
