I believe the minimum VRT that can be charged on a car, even if it is a banger worth 50quid, is 400euro! But the NCT that now assess the VRT value for the taxman. Might value the car more then 900quid. So?

you need the V5C, the purchase receipt, proof of date of import and an appointment with in 7 days of that with the NCT. If car isnt M0Td it will need to be tested How do you come to not have the V5C?
