What to do in Ferns?

Hi,

A friend (of a friend!) is about to rent a place in Ferns. It seems like a nice place. I only know it to pass through, stopping only at the 24 hour. Any advice on what's there for him? A few nice looking little pubs there for a start anyway!!

After The Thatch pub and The Courtyard,there's feck all else tbh.For nightlife it's a taxi to Enniscorthy or Gorey.If your friend is sport orientated check out joining the local teams-GAA and Soccer,not much else to do after that.

You could always bash the bishop (of Ferns) while you are there.

Given what went on, it would be well deserved.
