    Hi guys

Firstly can say I am a total noob to the world of Music Production !!

I mainly hang out in Photography :D

My question is there a version of splicd.com for music tracks ?
i.e take a sample of a track and format into a shorter version ?

I have a track in mind for a project and was wondering whats the best way was of doing this ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

what you're looking for is an audio editor:

wavelab & soundforge would be industry standard but are quite expensive.

for free try audacity, its well capabable of most tasks with a small learning curve - http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
