its point .64% on high idle. really hope its a cheap fix.
went too the local garage the first time and he put in a second cat that is welded in. what are the chances in getting it out too get the money back. he didn't even know if it would fix it up.

.64% what? If you write up all the emission data it will make us understand it a bit more. Usually emission based problems can be a wee bit on the expensive side.

high idle Limits depend on year of manufacture

    (2.890) lamba:0.98 between 0.97 and 1.03 PASS

    co 0.64 vol% above 0.20% FAIL
HC 18PPM ABOVE 200 PPM PASS

its the high idle it failed on

High co is too much fuel I think, you could be a looking at a new O2 sensor.

High CO without corresponding high HC wouldn't read as overfueling to me, more likely the Cat. OP, did you warm up the car properly before bringing it to the test centre? The Cat does not function efficiently until it has properly warmed up.

Was well warmed up. It's more than 20mins drive

HC 18PPM ABOVE 200 PPM PASS, its not the cat anyway/

So they said that the inlet manifold is blowing air or some thing like that and I need too get a second hand one. Its got a cat built into it and that second one that was put in was a waste of time.
