    ....the boom and the recession?

For me the album that reminds me of the hight of the booms years 2006/7 is Justice - Cross.
Mainly the tracks 'Tthhee Ppaarrttyy' & 'DVNO', to me it sounds like such a glamourous & over indulgence album...

'Tthhee Ppaarrttyy' as I always listened to this on my mp3 player on the way to the pub at like 6pm(!) where it was always packet and really good fun and 'DVNO' cause we all had more money than sense and we all drank way to much and did "other stuff" at house partys after the night out too, ah the good times....

Then for the recession the album I have picked is 'Beck - Modern Guilt' even just the name of the ablum says it all really and because I seem to listen to it a lot when i am in work doing overtime (i know, I'm lucky, i have overtime bla bla bla) to make money to meet my bills lol

There would be a lot of other ablums but i just thought of this topic when listening to Justice.

    So whats yours?

the script's 'science and faith', mostly because it was made based on the times we have to endure right now.

That's why it reminds me, everytime I went home, I'd hear it on the radio, in the pub, yada, yada.

No. I won't ****ing calm down.
I'm ****ing sick of this crap.

Every other thread is reminding us that the country is in a hole. Constant doom and gloom only serves to depress people even further.

If you're that bothered by the recession, then go and picket at Leinster house, make sure not to vote for the same shower of bastads at the next election. Or **** off to Van Diemen's land, or whatever it is they call that place these days.

You'd swear the world was coming to an end the way people are going on and on and on and on and on about how ****ed we all are.
We're not ****ed. It's a minor blip. Suck it up, you expletives deleted lest I get banned.

"Oh no. Intel are going because their 20 year tax break is up". They're here more than 20 years ffs.

"Oh no. Our Great Grandchildren will have to pay for NAMA." No, they won't. Honestly they really will not.

"Oh no. BIFFO got drunk." So ****ing what.

Constant whining and reminding about the recession, only briefly lightened by Alison O'Riordan's inane ramblings and Degsy's deconstruction of said ramblings.

Then you have the constant whining about people on the dole and pensioners.
€200 a week rabble rabble rabble.
Get your ****ing noses out of your arses and stop enjoying the smell of your own brand name generated farts. The vast majority of people on the dole would work if they had the chance, and you'll be pensioners too some day. Well, you'll be pensioners if you don't die from inhaling all that methane from your arses.

You're the same people who can actually afford to buy things, but you choose to go to foreign countries and help the economies there, rather than helping to create jobs in Ireland by buying your pointless gadgets here.
Then you come and post here about the great bargains you got in Newry, bitch about people on the dole, and completely fail to see how you are reponsible for some of the job losses here. The idiocy and hypocricy is almost beyond comprehension.

    ****ing students.

Terry... sing with me that old Maureen McGovern song:

There's got to be a morning after
If we can hold on through the night
We have a chance to find the sunshine
Let's keep on looking for the light

Oh, can't you see the morning after?
It's waiting right outside the storm
Why don't we cross the bridge together
And find a place that's safe and warm?

Of course you have to forget that it was the theme song for an old film where the ship capsized and sunk! ;)
