I've just bought myself a bike for some cycling this winter and need some advice on proper weather clothing.
I'm on a tight budget, so I can't afford branded jackets etc.
Essentially, I am looking for a rainjacket or cape, rain pants and boots.
Sources and prices would be much appreciated.

Over in the Cycling Forum they might be of some help :)

I'd honestly to to Lidl or Aldi as they do running/cycling gear every so often and I haven't heard people complain about the quality.

For cycling specific gear which might be on sale - try www.wiggle.com or www.chainreactioncycles.com.

I know that McQuaid Cycles (2 Fitzmaurice Road, Glasnevin, Dublin 11) are having a sale this Sunday (according to their latest tweet) so it might be worth checking out.
