Remap and insurance implications?

Has anyone here done a remap and told their insurance company about it?

If so what was the effect on your premium?

I know there are a lot of people who wouldn't bother telling their insurance and wing it, but I am not one of them so would like to hear from those that have informed their insurance companies.

    Cheers.

Best thing to do I'd suggest is contact them, give them details of what you're thinking of doing, and get a written reply.

Ring them and ask/tell them, they will note it on your policy, whether it stays the same or rises and by how much depends on the insurance company.
