Anyone bought an adapter from replacementpoweradapters in Limerick? I urgently need to replace an Advent adapter ! Any other recommended on line retailers of adapters also appreciated.

I never used them but got about 4 Power Adapters for friends laptops over the last year from ebay, I always check the specs in the adapter to what they have on the ebay listing and contact seller if in doubt. Always check they have UK Stock for faster delivery most cases under a week and bad comments on their feedback. I paid about £15 at the most.

Try Maplin Electronics on Childers Road, Limerick. They have an online order system, and they have replacements for anything electrical.

Hey thanks ! Don't know why I didn't think of ebay. :o Ordered one on Friday from ebay for £15.90 including delivery, so about €19 and there's a three year guarantee !!! The last one I bought from laptop-power was €49.40 after fx conversion and it's broken after 14 months - just outside the 12 month warranty.
