The show starts with Team Raw and Team Smackdown in the ring with Teddy Long, who said he will let the superstars make the matches. Miz picked a six-man tag featuring himself, Zeke, and Sheamus vs. Big Show, Kofi Kingston, and Rey Mysterio.
Edge said he wanted C.M. Punk. John Morrison wanted Alberto Del Rio. Jack Swagger got booed and ended up taking Santino Marella. The crowd was popping big for Santino. Long made all the requested matches official. Big Show, Rey Mysterio, and Kofi Kingston defeated The Miz, Sheamus, and Ezekiel Jackson. Show chokeslammed Miz and had Rey jump off his shoulders for a splash to get the win.
Jack Swagger beat Santino Marella. Halfway through the match, Hornswoggle came in to shoo off Swagger's Eagle mascot that was distracting Santinto. Santino managed to hit The Cobra on the bird. Swagger won the match via ankle lock.
Alberto Del Rio defeated John Morrison.
Laycool came out. Layla was dressed as Natalya with Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart's beard, and McCool was dressed as Bret Hart. The crowd booed them. Natalya and Kelly Kelly came to a big pop.
Natalya and Kelly Kelly defeated LayCool. For some reason the crowd chanted "Let's go Oilers, Calgary sucks" for the first bit. Anyway, Natalya won via Sharpshooter.
Randy Orton defeated Kane in a Champion vs. Champion match. Kane dominated most of the match. The ending was Kane going for a chokeslam, but the bell tolled and the lights went out. When the lights went on, there was no Undertaker, but Orton used the distraction to nail Kane with an RKO for the win.
After the match, Kane was freaking out outside and then the bell was heard again. Kane went back in the ring and Taker came out from the ring by making a hole through. Taker pulled Kane inside the hole. They got out brawled and Kane escaped. Taker posed and then threw the World Title belt in the hole in the ring where he came out of.

No mention of Punk V Edge result or even if the match happened

I read on an iphone app, that the CM Punk/Edge ended in a no-result when both teams ran in and started brawling. Team Smackdown got the upperhand and they ended up celebrating in the ring.

Seeing how Team Smackdown got the upper hand twice now I can see Team Raw taking the win at Bragging Rights.

I wouldnt be so sure, the raw team looks very weak anyway.

True! But I fancy the Miz sneaking the win here somehow!

That was good the first time they did it.

Surely the buried alive match will have to end their feud. I can't imagine they'll cross paths again in a singles feud anyway, what with taker retiring soon and the obligatory who will end Takers WM streak to start up in time for WM.

I agree Raw will likely get the win. I can see Miz getting the winning pinfall as it all seems like a way to get him over as a main eventer.

    Looks like a decent Smackdown.

Smackdown team got the upperhand on Raw and Smackdown, so knowing how the WWE book, a Raw win on Sunday is a cert. I say either Reks or more likely Swagger will be the one pinned as well.

Ah I didn't know it was an elimination match.

Its probably not the smartest to do that match on the PPV before Survivor Series though. :p

I think Swagger will continue his feud with Edge even though they are on the same team and even Alberto and Rey will feud so Team SD will lose - Miz will probably get Riley to help somehow

That's exactly what i was thinking. If they really want a Smackdown vs Raw match, then why not just incorporate it into Survivor Series itself. Or else, just move the Bragging Rights PPV - switch it with MITB PPV or Fatal 4 Way or somethin.

survivor series hasn't been a proper elimination event for years

Edge fought C.M. Punk to a no-contest. The crowd was hot for Edge the whole time. As he was about to spear Punk, Team Raw interfered and then Team Smackdown came out for the save. It ended up with everyone hitting their finishers on someone else. Edge was the last one, and he speared Punk and then posed with Team Smackdown.

Well they still have at least 2 Elimination matches every year

Didn't Survivor Series use to have a Smackdown Vs. Raw match before Bragging Rights anyway? Thus making the entire Bragging Rights concept pointless!!!

The idea of Bragging Rights would work better if you had Champ Vs. Champ (Non-Title) from each show, and keep a score card from all the matches overall and top it off with the 7 on 7 tag match. Otherwise this is esentially an inferior Survivor Series PPV rip-off and a cheap way to advertise WWE's Smackdown Vs. Raw's latest game.

I remember at Survivor Series a good few years ago there was a match between Evolution and Orton, Benoit, Maven and Jericho and the winner got to control Raw. Orton's team won and they got to control Raw for a month. I remember it made for entertaining TV as you had Maven and Benoit booking matches against Triple H for his World Title when they were in control, and Evolution freaking about the situation.

I'd like to see something similar at Bragging Rights. The winner getting a trophy is bullsh*t and no one cares about that. If the winning team got to control their opponent's show however then it would be a big deal.

Imagine if Team Raw won and then Miz and his team got to control Smackdown for a month. You could have John Morrison booking himself in a match with Kane for the World Title and Kane going crazy about having to defend his title every week against new challengers. It would make the WWE and World Champion have to take a keen interest in the Bragging Rights match as well as the Raw and Smackdown GMs.

Sounds like a decent show. Looking forward to seeing Edge v Punk.
