Clarke got his 5th ODI centuary to give a late surge to the Aussies after a sluggish start, Hussey initially led the revival with a 69 but Clarke pushed on and proved again what an accomplished batsman he is

    257-3 after 48 overs

Edit: Clarke is currently on 110 and being well backed up by White who is on 61

    266/3 after 49

India have fallen apart in the last 6 overs! a competitive total at least

White is such a power hitter at the end of an innings, great to have him in the OD team. finished with 89 no off 49 balls

    Australia end the innings 289/3

Good total imo, and very good considering the slow start!

forgot to mention Aus were 16/2 early on!

It must be murder out there. Anyone who has batted for a while is constantly taking water/tablets/food. I know its hot out there but it seems to be worse than usual tonight.

Decent game so far. Quite enjoyable and at a reasonable hour for once! However, the rubbish commentary doesn't really help you get into it.

Another drubbing for the Aussies.....but having said that come April 2011 and the World cup they'll be the ones having the last laugh;)

wouldnt call it a drubbing tbf, they lost with 7 balls to go having got off to a terrible start of their batting innings and with having an inexperienced bowling attack
