Sage Product Valuation not right

    Hi all,

I have a question for you. I really hope you can help. I have run a product retrospective valuation report and we'd say I have one product we have 17 at a cost price of .2 so the valuation should say 3.40 - but my valuation is only showing 2.99 - in the product the cost is correct so I cannot see why it isn't showing 2.99.

That is only for our smaller items. I have one Item that I have a quantity of 752 at a cost price of 2.20 should be 1654.40 but is actually showing as a valuation of 367.00

Any help would be greatly appreciated as our bank needs this and it is not showing correctly.

    Sounds like a VAT issue.

    €3.40 - 13.5% VAT = €2.99

    Hi,

Thanks for the reply, but it isn't a VAT issue as all our goods are at 21% except what we bring in from China which is 0% on sage.

I have one Item that I have a quantity of 752 at a cost price of 2.20 should be 1654.40 but is actually showing as a valuation of 367.00 - so that definately is not VAT related... I cannot see why it is not showing correctly and am completely stumped.

    Thanks

On which basis are you running the report. Average Cost Price? Or Last Purchase Price?

    Hi,

You are the best... I was doing it retrospectively but when I did it on last purchase price it is perfect.

You have saved me hours of trying to figure it out for no reason.

    Issue now resolved.

    Thanks a mill.

    :D
