    Hi,

I got a 04 Yaris 1.0 given to me by the auld wan. Just got 2 separate quotes online. Quinn Direct TPF & Theft - 1150 Euro and 123.ie quoted me 1100 Euro TPF & Theft. Just wondering if there's any other good insurance companies i should look at to get a cheaper quote?

I'm 24, have my full licence 3 years, 1 years Named Driving Experience, no penalty points.

    Thanks

No hidden trick; phone book out, ring every insurance company/broker until you get the best quote.

FWIW assuming the only NCB you have built up is from the one year as a named driver then youre probably not going to get a whole lot cheaper than what you have been quoted tbh.

This question comes up here all the time but unfortunately there is no quick fix or short cut to getting cheap insurance.

I would not bother with online quotes, they are too generic and if you don't fit the generic profile of the online quote system then it tends to just pull figures from the air. The only way is for you to get the phonebook out and ring every insurance company and broker in there and see who can offer you the best cover at the best price.

Remember, you cannot negotiate with a computer.
