    I'M STARVING!

I have €4 in my wallet, a sprained ankle so I can't walk to restaurant/ATM Machine, and no food in the press. What are my chances? Inc. delivery charges please!

*edit* quick reply would be v.much appreciated, I may even spare you a chip!

4 euro? Most takeaways have minimum order charges. I'm getting a takeaway now, Mizzoni's have a 2 for 1 pizza deal. I'll buy two and bring yours over :P

Do you or anyone else nearby have a credit card? You could book through somewhere like letseat.ie and pay that way. Or some delivery places will take your credit card over the phone.

go to justeat.ie and you can order there. Search for maynooth and royal city will come up. Don't need a credit card.

Anyone been to the new mill yet? 'Tis shiny!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 912 ✭✭✭Norrdeth

I popped in a week ago looking for comfort, tae, lovely sambos, a place to work with the laptop. I only found a shiny "chic", expensive, and pretentious air. Seems more like another bistro tbh, where's the charm of a friendly cheap student café in the village?

    Elite confectionary beside Caulfields.

I really like the new coffee mill . Always pop in if O'Brians is too full. The coffee is lovely and cheap in comparison to places like Esquires. The staff are lovely! (Lou and the cashier in particular) The owner seems to be always flitting about and plays host very well.

Perhaps that shiny "chic", expensive, and pretentious air is in your head or getting mixed up with clean, nice and friendly.

No don't get me wrong I was there more than a year ago and it was lovely!
Maybe I just need to give it more time for the changes to settle in =P
