Luggage advice

    Hi Folks,
    Just got rid of my little 125cc and looking to go up to a bigger engine. (Learner legal/restricted)

    Ideally want to get bike with removable lockable panniers/top box.
    Have a tight laneway/gate to negotiate.

    Not too many bikes going with luggage...
    Seen a few transalps fully kitted, but they seem to keep their value too well... 2,000 euro for early '90's models!!)

    Any idea where I'd get rack/panniers at decent prices?
    (Lets be honest, 3 plastic boxes aint worth hundreds of euro)

    or anyone seen any bargain bikes with luggage?

    Budget of around 1,500 euro

    You can put a top box on just about any bike.

    You probably will find a bike with luggage for under €1500.00 but, I don't think it will be a good bike, and it will be between 10 and 20 years old.

    It might be easier to buy the bike you want, and then try and get luggage for it off fleebay.
