I am travelling to oz in February for a year and when i look at flights online all sites only let you book a return date a year from now instead of a year from the day im flying. So just wondering if anyone experienced this before and if they know what happens in the long run?

Im going next week for a year, my flight is only until the end of June next year, but they said, ring up the airline and they will change it once ithey have the date on the system.

really, ok cool, another quick question since you probably have everything sorted by now and im only starting. Did you get your visa through de oz government or an agency?

Get your visa yourself. Avoid using an agency like visa first. They charge for the privilege of doing stuff you could do yourself for free if you made a bit of effort.

I was bamboozled into using them coz i was going it alone and loads of people told me to use them to make sure all was in order. Bein panicky I did, and seems like i was the only one who had, every person i met on my travels did all that visa bank tfn number themselves.
