I've been meaning to put this up for a while now.

Well what can I say?
This is a serious piece of kit. Since getting it everything else has just been left aside.

EXTERNALS
The gun itself is rock solid but surprisingly lighter than my others.
I think the Vltor upper receiver adds a bit more character to it and the small details make this AEG really stand out. It is really well put together and I can find absolutely no faults with it.
When I first picked it up there was a nice balance to it. Neither end was heavier than the other and it sat well in the shoulder so very comfortable to carry around on long skirmishes. I've been pretty heavy handed with it and it still stands up to the punishment.

INTERNALS
The parts that have gone into it are all top quality and it shows.
I have to say the Cheetah mosfet is excellent and I can't recommend it enough.. It's a fully computer controlled MOSFET switching with Active Braking. The Mode, Burst Time, and Motor Speed are all programmed via trigger pulls.
I'm using an 8.4v 1600mAh battery in it as the rate of fire was ridiculous on a 9.6v, the motor speed has also been reduced to increase life expectancy yet it's still fast.
On single shot it snaps the BBs out guaranteed to hit the same spot over an over. The 3 round burst is brilliant, sharp and highly responsive with the option to go full auto by holding the trigger for another half second. The range is what you would expect with the Guarder HopUp installed - excellent.



OVERVIEW
I cannot recommend DB Customs enough. The build quality and parts are excellent and it shows.
Hands down it's the best AEG I've had and it won't be my last.

How did you find the System upgrade kit over the standard G&P gear?
Much difference?
I have two magpull G&P M4's now and am tempted to do something like this..

Being honest the G&P set up is very very good. I loved my Magpul M4, only had a small bit of trouble with it but it was worth it.

This set up is quite different. It just feels so much more responsive when you pull the trigger and being able to customise it to your own preference is brilliant.
If you love a crazy ROF then you can set it to that or if you want a more realistic burst then you can set it to that also.

It's kinda like having a couple of different AEGs in one.
Also I find myself more confident on the single shot as I know where the BB will hit each time more or less so I don't find myself using full auto as much.
