Hi. This has happened to me twice in recent months. I had several programs on the TV planner. However, when I got home from work, I discovered that the UPC box was on standy, and that all of the programs that I had planned to record had disappeared from the planner ? I was told by somebody that this is to do with UPC doing updates overnight. Could this be it ? Seems very slipshod if this can delete your planned programs. I had thought that maybe I should not leave the TV on the planner or the recorder page when I am not watching it. Any ideas ?

I was told by a upc technician that its a software issue and until they fix that it'll keep happening. Strange thing is there is two dvr's in the house(both black dvr's) and it only affects one of them.
