do you have to pay for baggage and CC charges with them or is the initial price for flights the final price?

You can have one check-in bag per person up to 15kg for free (BEAT THAT, O LEARY!). Anything over that will be charged as excess baggage.

If you pay with a credit card (Visa / Mastercard), you'll be charged 5 euro extra per person per flight (so for return flights for 2 people, it'll be 20 euro extra). But no fees with Laser.

If you fly from Galway there is 10euro 'airport tax' which Aer Arran have no control over. Prob the same with some of the other regional airports.

Not the Sligo airport, but Knock have this too.

Not any more - they now charge for luggage - €8 online or €12 at the airport. They have reduced the size of carry on as well so it must weigh no more than 7kg and more importantly cannot exceed 20cm x 28cm x 43cm which is smaller than Aer Lingus and Ryanair!

Yeah, not as good as their 50% off recently.

Got 2 return flights in that for €65.98.. they're €90.96 in this sale.

Must be very VERY recent as I flew recently and didn't pay.

And I don't get the to option pay for bags online.

Cant see any reductions on the site  I have tried for 2 different flights and they are the exact same price they were yesterday? Should I be putting something in the promo code box?

The first date I checked the prices were half price...which was for 2 months time. The next couple of dates I checked were FULL price,no reduction at all and they were for April/June next year...so maybe its only between certain dates?

I see that it's only valid for travel from November 1st.

Flew with Aer Lingus regional a few weeks ago and had to pay aer Arann baggage charges and my daughter flew from Waterford a month ago and had to pay €12 at the desk cos her bag didn't fit in the carry on rack. She had flown into Ireland on Ryanair!

Waterford to galway 3rd december and return 6th was 120euro for 2 adults and 2 children last week now 244euro in the sale????

I had a gander during the 'sale' and there was no obvious discounts that I could find.

I fly a bit with Aer Arann, generally with check in luggage and I've never paid for bags (last time I flew was last week).

However, it says on the Aer Arann site fees guide (here) that it's €8 for a bag, but it says on the baggage policy link (here) on my most recent booking confirmation that it's free! I'm just looking again and on the price guide it's dated the 18th October, so perhaps the baggage fee was introduced this week??

Certainly, I've never paid. Also, the 15kg limit is for domestic flights. If you've an onward international flight with a higher baggage allowance, they will allow the higher allowance at no extra cost.
