To anyone in a college based team or a student at college.

There are plans for a college american football championship at Limerick near the end of November.

We are considering holding a college flag football championship at the same event and would like to know about interest.

Would you or your team be interested?

I'd be interested yeah. I was surprised actually to see that there wasn't an american football team in the college on clubs and socs day, seeing as how a good load of other colleges have one.

Less of that flag stuff though, give us the real thing!

Flag football is American football only instead of making tackles a flag is removed from the player that would have been tackled

Maynooth don't really need a football team. There's one in Lucan, which is a short bus journey from Maynooth.
