    Anyone given it a try?

Works pretty well on my Samsung NC10 (1.6Ghz, 2GB ram) Actually, it works very well considering what it is! Mouse, keyboard and wifi are all working perfectly.

I need to sort out the bootloader to allow my now triple boot setup so i can give it a decent test.

You can run it live from a usb using unetbootin. If you do install to a partition be aware that the grub bootloader doesn't check for other OS's so you won't be able to load them
