    anyone have any idea what engineering companies designed the louisa bridge and maynooth train stations??

    Louisa Bridge would have been built by the Royal Canal Company at the time the Royal Canal was being constructed in the late 1700's.... 1780ish maybe?

    Not sure on the train station but they came around the early 1800's if its an original building... Great Western Railways or something...

    AFAIK the Royal Canal company employed its own engineer to lead this project, a history book on the subject might fill you in. The idea of consultants and contractors hadn't really been thought of yet.

    If you're referring to the modern refurbs, it was probably Irish Rail's Architects
