JF entrance exhibitions

    When do we find out if we got the entrance exhibitions? I was eligible under last year's criteria (>=560 points), and as such have put off buying my textbooks until I get word from the college. Thing is, it's already the middle of October, so have any JF students here gotten their book vouchers already? I feel a bit silly waiting for a letter that may or may not come.

    You will be notified by post if you qualify and you should know by now, your tutor would have informed you when you met them (If you haven't you should arrange to meet ASAP)

    The required points level (to keep the number of awards equal) has increased steadily with time. 10 years ago it was 540, last year 560, I would not be surprised if it is now 565

    I got 590 and I haven't heard anything either...I doubt it has risen above that o.O No one's mentioned anything about them tbh so I assume they haven't been given out yet?

    Same here. Tutor never mentioned anything and I haven't gotten anything in the post.

    Same. I've 600 and no word yet. I hope it's soon... I've my eye on a lot of manga in Hodges & Figgis :D

    I can't see why not... these things take time though. When I was in UCD I didn't get my entrance scholarship will mid November and they started a lot earlier than Trinners.

    I think our fancy night out was the twenty something of November last year. I think we were quite late getting our notification in the post. As in like probably around now so I'm sure this year's letters will be out soon. And my tutor never said anything to me last year about winning it.
