Lack of trees will be a bit of a problem for them here Veg :D, all the same, I'm stocked up on shotty ammo, and have a couple of Kanias lying around the place

    :D

Glad we don't have them in my part of the world yet. Yet another reason to be out and about knocking the little buggers on the head mind.

Usual pearls of wisdom from the (a)RS(e)PCA, "It is important however that members of the public do not try to catch the squirrels and take the law into their own hands."

Mice will do the same thing, My Father & 2 brothers caught mice in mouse traps in their cars, they were eating insulation, one even was eating a way into the air box on one car, and the battery on another. One of the brothers caught 5 mice, we traced it back to the fact a family of mice were living in the evergreen trees near where the lads parked the cars, the trees got to meet Mr Husqvarna ;)

Quite right too. Any educated person knows that Mr. Red and Mr. Grey are the best of friends, they even take afternoon tea together. Obviously none of you doubters have ever read Beatrix Potter. Poor Squirrel Nutkin, being victimised by all you evil bigots. And judging a squirrel by the colour of its fur is overt racism. You should all be arrested for breach of equality laws;)

It seems that Mr Tyler has never heard of squirrel pox (fibromatosis), carried by greys but harmless to them, but fatal to reds that contract it from contact with greys. So even if the bigger more aggressive greys aren't actualy fighting with the reds and driving them away, they are killing them off with squirrel pox.
