Lettings Maintenance

    Yappin to a mate of mine last nite he was saying that him and his dad are going into Property Lettings Service and Repair.

    He explained it to to me as he's cold call alot of Real Estate agents, basically offering a complete cleaning and repair serivce after a tennant has been in, in time to be letted out again.

    He priced it as

    €75 for a complete repair and clean for a 1 bed appartment
    €100 for a 2 bed appartment
    €125 for a 3 bed appartment
    €150 for any size house.

    He asked me if i was interested in going in with him, i've given alot of thought but its a market that i know little about.

    What do yiz think??? Oh and he did say if i wanted to buy in it would be €500??? for half the biz.

    Any letting agency worth their salt has their own team to do this or has long standing relationships with contractors for this sort of thing.

    Has he researched this market and the current rates? Letting agenicies are charging between 5-10% these days... Not a lot in that for €150 worth of cleaning.
