bridemaid dresses....size 6 and 22

hi, im going to be bridesmaid for my best friend next summer and im sure shes going to want to go shopping for bridemaid dresses shortly. problem is im a size 22 and the other bridemsaid is at most a size 6. where will we find dresses to fit us both???? (mayo area but willing to travel a bit)

a lot of designers make dresses from sizes 6 to 24, so if the three of you are set on both bridesmaids being dressed the same don't worry.

my advice though is that a dress that will compliment you might not be the shape and style that will compliment the girl who's a size 6 as well, and vice versa, so don't rule out the idea of different styles in the same fabric/colour.

the bridal shop round the corner from the garda station in ballina, elegant touch, has a very very very very small selection of bridesmaids dresses in 20/22/24, but the good thing is that they are the styles that suit larger sizes. if you take a spin to sligo then simone's has a few too, but a word of advice - you will save yourself a fair bit if you can both find dresses you like, then google the designer and find a supplier in the north, the uk, or online. some shops rip out the designer's tag so you can't find the style number and di this very thing - but if you ask them they should tell ya.
