Few problems with BMW 320D

    ok guys have a 2003 bmw 320d se and speedometer do not work, the fuel guage do not work either..the rev counter and the other instruments all work fine its just these 2...

    any ideas on whats the cause?

    ok got a guy to put it on his sealey handheld pc and its showing up faults - rear abs speed sensors on both sides,
    is this expensive to fix?
    also the handbrake do not wotk at all...........

    ok i did this on a 5 series so not sure if its the same.
    if your a hands on type of guy you should be able to fix this yourself, remove rear wheel and you will see a wire coming out from the brake caliper unit and running under the wheel well covers. these covers are easily removed with a screw driver . You will then see the sensor plug which you will need to disconnect . you then need a 5mm allen key to remove the actual sensor from the wheel caliper. make to sure to spry plenty of lubricant on allen screws to prevent them braking
