    Hey all,

I'm currently looking to buy a new laptop and I'm looking for a Toshiba but they don't offer the ability to buy direct from their website:mad:

So my question is where is the best place to get a laptop direct online?

Also what are the best brands of laptops? I currently have a HP and i hate it and I previously had a Toshiba and it was in a word "Reliable" which can't be said about my HP

P.S Sorry if this isn't the correct place to post this

Picked up a laptop from laptops direct about 2 years ago. No hassle with them.
In terms of brand, pick a budget and see what is available. There isnt much difference in the quality of whats inside them, its mainly the look and feel on the outside thats is different. Ive used Sony, Dell, HP and Apple Macs too. Never to bothered about the badge if it does the job.

Regarding best laptops, it all depends on what you want.

I currently have 3 acers and have had no problems with them. They are much cheaper than toshiba for same spec.

had a toshiba and loved it, but over priced.
    Samsung laptops get good reviews.

In my case given the choice, but it all depends on what you want it for and budget.

    1. Toshiba
    2. Hewlett Packard
    3. Samsung
    4. Acer
