What do the Boards Motors people think of this latest French offering.....?

Kind of disappointed tbh. Bit boring compared to the rest of the range although reports seem positive

I think* I prefer the old one

*might have something to do with the fact that the site takes ages to load and that there are no pictures only a "video" that loads even slower ..so I gave up after a first glance which showed nothing new really

Gone are the aggressive square lines of the current model to be replaced with the bland generic lines of the new one.

Citroen might just lose its tag as the fun, cutting edge car brand.

Ah yes - I remember the old dial-up connection. It was launched around the same time as the CX :D

Very disappointing. For some reason, I immediately thought Daewoo with some chrome bits on it.

Looks pretty average, nothing class leading or ground breaking about it. Maybe Citroen are intentionally doing this to distance this model from the forthcoming DS4:

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

Another very disappointing from me :(

And to put things into perspective, unlike some people on here, I do not hate French cars. I've always quite liked Citroens, but not all of them. I feel the previous C4 coupe was the best looking 3 door hatch for sale in this country.

That doesn't do anything for me either. The DS3 is a pretty cool looking car though by all means

    It's just incredibly boring.

I did see a DS3 in the flesh today and it looked fantastic. Although the one i saw was in a grey metallic colour which just didn't suit it at all, it needs some bright colours to look good.

I reckon they've toned the styling down a bit to make room in the lineup for the DS4.

Still not a bad looking car mind - will withold judgement til I see it on the road.
