Directions needed

Hi All

I have an interview tomorrow in pfizer in Askeaton and will be getting the bus from Limerick to Askeaton (The Square)

Has anybody any idea if pfizer is near the bus stop or how to get there?

It's the old Wyeth building where they are I think. It is across from the abbey you drive past on the bypass as you head towards Foynes.

If so it is a little bit of a strool from the square in Askeaton, especially if the weather is bad, plus you will have to make you way across the main road (Askeaton bypass).

Just found out the Interview has been moved back to Limerick (Thank God)
Should be a fun journey if I get the job tho

Ahh that's handy that the interview is in Limerick now. Hope it goes really well for you and that you come onto the forum soon saying you got the job. It's always good to hear of somebody getting a job or new job nowadays as it gives a bit of hope to those of us still looking.


I have a feeling that there is a bus that passes/stops somewhere near it on the bypass though. It may be a company run bus similar to the Dell bus , or something like that or maybe one of the Expressway type buses..

no not me Im afraid. Would never venture to Kraptalk and RAWK gets a bit too heated at times.

Pfizer don't have their own bus like Dell did. if your lucky with job, but you might be able to get a lift from someone - plenty of people heading that way every day.

Well no luck with the job anyway. Its only a 5 week contract and I have a job at the moment so couldnt risk taking it and be out of work in a month or so. They seemed impressed and got email addresses so at least picked up some contacts.

What type of positions are they hiring for Rushian? never really see much around the jobsites for them, supposed to be a good company to work for.

It wasnt actually for Pfizer - It was for HP CDS - IT outsource for HP working in the pfizer plant.
It was a desktop technician position
