I hope one can post here even with a different sexual orientation than the LGBT. Well on the other hand I've never met a gay person who would have been predjudiced towads my sexual orientation. It is usually just the other way around.

I just wanted to share this news link with you what is going on up here in the cold north at the moment. It is #1 news at the moment in all media. I was trying to have a discussion about this in the Christian forum here but they ended throwíng insults and then locked the topic.

Have not that much time to comment during the week. Too much work.


The number of people resigning from the Evangelical Lutheran Church in the wake of last week’s TV discussion programme on homosexuality and the church continues to rise. The number of resignations has now exceeded 20,000.

So this is in reponse to one womans opinion that the LGBT community should not have the right to marry or adopt. The reaction seems proper.

If you are reffering to Mrs Räsänen - it is not just that. She is a freak. And therfore been picked out the most. People are against ultra conservative views of the matter and want a change. At the moment according the research centre of the Church 1/3 of the priest are for Gay Marraiges in the Church, 1/3 are against them, 1/3 have not said their point of view. Majority of the church memebers are for gay marriages so they are upset of the Church not take note of this. Resignations are upto 24 000 now.

Well I've heard that to talk with your feet makes the most noise, so I say to those who have resigned, well done! If only the Irish would do that more on a whole load of issues we might be better off.
