    Hello can anyone help please, I have a nasty malware called "svchost.exe" and "Win32: Inject-xw" I have tried all the usual methods of removing it but to no avail using avast antivirus and malwarebytes. It causes my screen to flicker blue constantly on my two optical drives D and E. I can still see and use the loaded game interface but still have constant flickering. I am considering formatting my machine and reloading windows. is this advisable? and is formatting a 100% solution to removing this malware and anything else it has installed on my system. Any advice or help would be much appreciated. Thanks

    set avast to do a boot scan and restart.as for svchost.exe if you look in the task manager-processes-you will find several of them.
