I'm looking for good meal to celebrate a graduation with the family.

Can anyone recommend restaurants in Galway that are a cut above the rest?

Abalone, do a search for it in this forum. It'll give you some reviews.

Park house is a safe bet, its where we usually go for family events such as grads etc.

personally I like the restaurant in the G hotel for the occasional treat...
apart from the food being good the staff are excellent, and to me that makes a big difference...
    congrats on graduating..
