Hi I have booked a flight with Aer Lingus but I am actually flying with Aer Arann. When I looked originally I looked at the Aer Lingus baggage allowance but I have just realised that Aer Arann have a much smaller allowance, are they strict with this or would I be able to get through with the Aer Lingus allowance

    Aer Lingus 10Kg 40cm x 20cm x 55cm

    Aer Arann 7Kg 28cm x 20cm x 43cm

    Thanks

NO. U wont be allowed to travel with carry-on baggage greater than 7kg. Its because the overhead baggage holds are a lot smaller on the Aer Arann Aircraft. If u want to bring a bigger bag u hav to check it in:(

I've been flying on a codeshare with aer liningus (originally british).. the overhead compartments were smaller, but they offered a free valet for larger trolleys
