I finished my pill pack and decided that I didn't want to get my period then so I started another pack immediately (i've never done this before) the first few days were fine then at the weekend I got some bleeding, I have continued to take the pill and just experiencing slight bleeding. I have a smear test on Wednesday should I cancel the appointment for the test?

    Ring your dr and ask.

The best time to have a smear test is mid cycle (10 - 14 days after your period).

You're not supposed to have one if you are bleeding, even if it's only slight. Taking 2 pills in a row is fine too.. so long as you don't do it all the time, and light bleeding is normal.

But as Thaedyal says, ring your doctor.
