    any registered guys advise on this :

    certs for re-connnection or an upgrade in capacity etc.

    or partial re-wiring

    what are the rules regarding certifying existing installations

    Not to suggest the obvious M cebee, but you should ring the local Ecssa/Reci guy and have a quick chat about what's usually done.
    I have always found them really helpfull.
