TV3 can't update Sky+ listings ?? Why ??

    I have a couple of series linked recordings on my Sky+ for shows on TV3.

    I was a bit annoyed when my recorded stuff was getting cut short as the programmes before were running over but didn't take much notice until I found I was (1) missing upto 35mins of programmes and (2) not the only one!


    I found a good few people moaning about this online but seems no one has actually called TV3 about it.. so I did.

    I am coming to the conclusion that their Tech Dept is actually an urban legend.. it must be like the Marie Celeste up there if it does exist.. phones ringing at empty desks.. unused keyboards gathering dust and cobwebs.. eerie winds whistling through lonely corridors.. water coolers that are dried up and bereft of pervaricating employees..

    Basically.. no one answers the phone. Ever.

    I understand that things don't always go to plan but every other channel manages to update their listings if they are runnning late etc so why not TV3 ?? And can anything be done about it ?

    You must be wrong about this. According to some people it is only RTÉ who do this.

    I don't record anything from RTE so wouldn't know about that .. perhaps it's just incompetent Irish channels in general that can't cope with updating.. :confused:;):D

    From my own experience the channels that update are Sky, BBC, ITV and British Eurosport. It is quite poor that all channels don't do this.
