NCT-ing stripped out car

Just have a question about NCT-ing a car of mine that's stripped out and wondering if anyone has any experience with this?

I found a small bit of material on other sites about doing this but I'm not 100% sure with the new rules and regulations that came in recently.

Essentially, the seats etc. are taken out and I'm considering removing the rear door cards also.

I just like it like this and it's not particularly for weight saving but a number of reasons including more space for musical equipment and not having to lug people around giving lifts ( which I have done for a long time :P)

It's only a Corolla but I like the racy feel that it gives the car. ( I've always wanted to do this with my Subaru but never had the guts because the interior is beautiful.)

Will this bring any issues up with the NCT crowd? I got the car for free so I'm not really concerned about the car anyway but I'd like it to go through the nct.

Also, the old horn wasn't working so I replaced it with a different one and wired it up to a button on the dashboard. Will there be any issues with this? Horn is secure etc.

This is purely a daily driver/beater car to get me around in but I'm having some fun with it doing things that I wouldn't have done to my other cars purely because I paid for the other ones :P

I think you will have to get the log book changed to say the car can carry only one person.

    Not sure on that.

Otherwise, everything in the car must be secure and you cant have any sharp edges etc...

I have the two front seats and I'm going to re-upholster the whole floor and where the door cards used to be in black felt/carpety material to make it look pretty . . but on the cheap! It's nice to mess around with a car that stands me nothing!

Just for anyone who is wondering about this, there is no problem whatsoever putting the car through the nct stipped out. All they do is make a note of the lack of seats on the nct sheet but its not a failure.
