Female Bassist needed

    It's a tough one but we believe it's kind of possible ;)
    To be straight and short in words:
    • we need FEMALE bassist! why is it tough...
    1. not many of them exist (fem bass)
    2. not many of them would like to play in a band with 4 foreign guys
    • what do we play?
    1. mixture of a range from Pink Floyd, A Perfect Circle but widen by all genres to make a good result
    2. no samples recorded as a band, but a spark of idea and a vocal preview may be found here in my single so-called project http://soundcloud.com/triplesuck
    • are we sexist or freaks?
    1. freaks maybe a bit, but I can safely say we worship females more than we say something unappropriate
    2. no cv required ;) some experience but not 'on stage' necessary (we'll deal with that later)
    • are we serious?
    1. definitely driven by will to live in peace and harmony, rich and healthy, just making music (is it hard?)
    2. in reality, we use to play in a Troubadour Rehearsal rooms, in Clontarf/Drumcondra, usually on Sunday mornings so everyone (more or less) may keep working week compromised with a band play ;)
    • who's already there?
    1. well there's four of us as I mentioned before
    2. drummer + multi-instrumentalist focused on guitar (electric and acoustic)+keyboard player (influenced by Dream Theater)...+of course vocalist, me (link above)
    • how bad do we look for fem bass?
    1. well, imagine fish out of water...
    2. we can't replace bass by (even best) keyboard system too long
    3. we're all up to have a gem like that in a band
    4. we do see some well gifted female bass players around the world (APC mentioned above for example - vide Paz Lenchantin)
    5. we think it's also well experienced configuration and a sexy set for all fans
    • requirements/guidelines?
    1. shouldn't even try to filter, already small amount of possible hits but...
    2. age is not restricted but reasonably somewhere around 20 and above, but if You're younger don't give up, let us know, we'll try to play a bit and we see if it fits - if You suit well the music and You put a lot of effort to the music flow, well...then sKrOO the rules :)
    3. own transport to Troubadour is an advantage, we may be able to pick in some areas.
