Wireless speed

Have been having a lot of problems with the BB lately. First problems were with UPC but that has now been fixed. I'm on a 15MB line, get a download speed of 14.5 wired but when i'm on my wireless network i'm getting 3MB at best. That's sitting within 5 feet of the router, nothing blocking it. Thought might have been something with the laptop but getting the same speed on my iphone.

Using a Belkin N wireless router. Any thoughts?

when using wireless, it doesn't provide the full speed as expected, and another thing is to check you wireless inteface if it support N or just b/g
