Unable to update Apps

    A couple of weeks ago i tried to update my linkedin app, it said i needed to connect to wifi which i did but it wont download. It then says i should do it via itunes but i cant get the thing working. But now no other apps will update because of this as i presume the linkedin app is first in the Q, any ideas?

    have ya tried rebooting, press and hold the power and home buttons till an apple comes up on screen
